As well producing, I’m also a big vinyl addict. Ever since a kid, I loved playing on my parents’ portable suitcase-style record player - you know, those cheap 70s ones! Speeding up, slowing down, scratching (or destroying) their 7 inch singles; endless hours of fun. It’s only now, having been a collector for almost 20 years, I realise I should’ve looked after those old relics better! Digital music of course has its benefits, but there’s something amazing about being able to hold an album, read about how it was made and devote that little bit more attention to listening to it.
